10 Reasons Why Highly Emotional People Are Wonderful

Highly emotional people are a rare breed so be sure never to let them go.

Being highly emotional does not mean you cry a lot or that you get sad all the time. It also doesn’t mean that you’re crazy or that you exaggerate. You do, however, feel things more intensely than the average person. You are able to feel and experience emotions on a different level than others.

Highly emotional people provide understanding and logic behind what others may perceive as “abnormal” or simply something they don’t understand. Those who are highly emotional have many benefits and advantages in life that are deemed positive to most.

1. They develop deeper and more meaningful relationships

Because of their unique ability to feel emotions and understand others’ emotions and feelings makes them very likable. It also makes them an honest and great friend.

2. They are in tune with their own emotions and feelings

There are a lot of people in the world who are unable to identify feelings and emotions and understand them in a rational sense. Some may attribute a person or group of people to feeling a certain way while those who are highly emotional are able to manage their feelings and emotions without having to place blame or reason on someone or something.

3. They are always in a process of changing

They are aware of their feelings and emotions and if they feel something is off or not in line, they will change whatever it is that needs changing. It could be certain people in their life or it could be a certain food. Regardless of what it is, the highly emotional people will change whatever they need to in order to feel their equilibrium.

4. They care about some things more than themselves

Sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse, there are things these individuals put in front of themselves. While it’s not healthy to do this, highly emotional people are very skilled at doing this and do so cautiously. They don’t want to get caught in the middle of something either.

5. They won’t settle

They know their worth and value. They know what they bring to the table. They also know exactly what they want and their strong will keeps them in line.

6. They are critical thinkers

They are able to critically think things through whether it be in a situation or in a relationship or friendship. They analyze everything and make decisions that are rational and sound for the most part.

7. Process their feelings rather than suppress them

Many people would rather suppress their feelings so they don’t have to deal with certain feelings and emotions that are painful or uncomfortable. Those who are highly emotional are very aware of their feelings and, as much as they may want to or try to suppress their feelings, they can’t. Instead, they process them and move on.

8. They are self-aware

People who are highly emotional are usually self-aware of their verbal and nonverbal behavior. They are aware of facial expressions and body language. One reason for this is because of reading and understanding others body language and other behavior.

9. They’re imaginative

Because of their intuitiveness and wondering minds, people who are highly emotional have a tendency to also be adventurous and love to explore. They seek to learn and understand different things.

10. Have an appreciation for the small things

Highly emotional people are used to doing things for others and being there for people with no expectation in receiving anything for it. They do it out of the kindness of their hearts. So when they receive a sweet text message or small gift, they are overjoyed. They are ecstatic. It doesn’t take a lot to keep highly emotional people happy to be honest. They appreciate the little things in life over materialistic things and money.

Highly emotional people are unique and pretty amazing people to be honest. They always try to put themselves in another person’s shoes to see what it feels like so they could understand how the other is feeling. These types of people are a rarity and you won’t come across them very often so if you have one that you know or who’s in your life, make sure you never lose them. They are special and wonderful people to have close to you.

Chicago Police Officers Will Be Reprimanded For Kneeling

Two Chicago police officers took a knee today in protesting police brutality and racism, as many professional athletes and others have done and will continue to do until there is equality for all.

The two officers silently took a knee with a local activist and it has yet to be determined what the consequences will be for these local officers supporting equality and joining the fight against racism.

The reasoning for being reprimanded is because the officers were in uniform and making a “political statement,”. No, it is not.

This is not a political statement and seems to be an excuse in an attempt to shut down protests for equality and police brutality. The definition of a political statement is an act or nonverbal form of communication that’s purpose is to influence a decision by a political party.

This has nothing to do with influencing a decision on a political party. There shouldn’t be an act of influencing one side or another when we are protesting against racism, equality for those of color or police brutality.

Equality and acting just toward all regardless of race is a human right and should not be misunderstood as a political statement. We are not trying to influence people. Politicians should know and be experts in what a political statement is.

We are demanding equal rights for everyone regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation and all groups and individuals that have been deprived basic human rights and equal justice for far too long.

There is absolutely no just reason to reprimand these Chicago police officers and claiming it’s because of they were in uniform, protesting equality and police brutality is yet another example of using loopholes in policy to execute racism.

As the hours and days go by, we only strengthen our unity and close the gap on the divide that so many people want to exist. Instead, we are coming together regardless of color and demonstrating unity and cohesion.

We are peacefully sending the message that we will not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind. Freedom of speech encourages collective unity and common understanding.

We, as Americans, have the right to protest in an appropriate and nonviolent manner as a means of filtering out those who are corrupt in hopes of bringing stability and equality among those who have been denied their human rights.

In a 1974 case, Procunier v. Martinez, Justice Thurgood Marshall stated that the first amendment right serves not only those in politics or an organized society but also the human spirit. He further states that the human spirit is one that needs selfexpression.

In regards to the two Chicago police officers, they did nothing wrong and stood up for what they believed in. It is my hope that this is a step in the right direction and I will continue to reach out to more and more people.

We will continue to fight against racial injustice and inequality until we are all treated as equals. Personally, I find it courageous and admirable that these officers protested against police brutality and racism.

We are breaking the cycle of repeated history that divided us. Those who deny racism and unjust practices against those of color in many institutions will not separate us into “us” and “them,”. We are in this fight together.

To My Mom Starting Chemo Soon, You Got This

Cancer fucked with the wrong woman. It doesn’t know your determination and will to live. It has NO idea the type of warrior it’s up against.

I am not going to pretend I know what you’re going through physically or mentally. Because I don’t. I do know you have the fight of a lion in you and that you’re ready for war.

You won’t be alone. Our family will be fighting with you, right by your side. You taught me how to fight and I know I am ready for battle. I will be there every step of the way.

I know you’re probably scared, fearful and anxious beyond belief. I can’t tell you that it’s going to be okay and it’ll be over in no time because unfortunately, I was not given that type of power in life. If only I could tell you it will be easy breezy but I can’t.

I can tell you that whatever you need, I got you. It doesn’t matter if it’s running to get medication, a certain food or drive across country to see a doctor. I will do it in a heartbeat.

You’ve been there for me since I was born. It’s my time to take care of you. You are the reason I am who I am today and I’m forever grateful to have your strength and courage.

If you’re weak, let me carry you. Literally and figuratively! Do not worry or think about things. I can carry all of that. You need every bit of strength to fight this beast.

I don’t tell you nearly as much as I should how appreciative and grateful I am for everything you have done for me. From helping me financially when I was struggling to the Miami Beach t-shirt you got for me, it NEVER goes unnoticed.

You’ve been my rock my entire life. Let’s be real here…if I hadn’t had you by my side throughout my life, I would have been totally screwed. I probably would have ended up in another country and not even have realized it!

It’s time for me to step up and be your rock and shoulder to lean on. It’s the absolute least I can do for the amazing life you have given me. I wish I could take it away from you and deal with it myself, but I can’t so being your rock is the next thing I can do.

Please save your energy for this fight. Forget the drama and other chaos. It’s not worth your precious time or energy. If people or situations you’re in are negatively affecting you, take yourself out of the equation because we don’t have time to waste in being anything but happy and creating memories.

Mom, you are a fucking rock star. To know and see what you’ve been through and what your about to endure with a smile on your face and head up is admirable and courageous. I can only hope I have half of that strength and courage as I get older.

Just remember, I am here. You are not alone. The family will fight with you everyday. Cancer doesn’t havea clue the battle it’s up against. Compared to you, cancer is a little bitch. Let’s all say…FUCK YOU CANCER! You’re in for a battle with a pack of lions. You won’t win.

12 Beautiful Signs Men Show Love Without Saying It

We all have our own way of defining love and how we perceive love.

The ways on how men show love without saying it are evident in their everyday actions towards the woman they love.

For me, these 12 things that a guy does shows me he loves me without having to say the actual words. It shows he cares about me in different ways.

1. He sends random sweet texts.

I don’t know about everyone reading, but this is one of my favorite things a guy does. It just goes to show you that they’re thinking about you at random times of the day, not just in the morning or at night.

2. He goes out of his way for you.

Although we should do this for those we love, guys are different when it comes to this. If he drops what he’s doing with his friends or coworkers for me, I know he truly cares and loves me.

It also shows a great deal of respect on his part.

3. He communicates with you.

Communication seems to be one of the biggest challenges in relationships. I don’t know why seeing as our way to get basic needs as a child is by communicating with our caregivers.

Maybe it’s because people are afraid of coming off mean or wanting to avoid confrontation. But lack of communication only makes the relationship worse gradually.

So when he communicates with me for things such as how he’s feeling about something or that he’s going to be running late, it shows respect and dedication to making the relationship work.

4. He brings his friends around you.

When he hangs out with me with his friends around, it tells me to a certain extent that he’s proud to be with me and isn’t embarrassed or ashamed to be with me.

This is huge for me as it shows he is committed, in my opinion.

5. He helps you — within his control.

No one can make life’s problems or challenges disappear so I’m not holding that expectation of anyone. But if he is able to help me with something such as proofreading a paper for me, he is at least trying to help in a way he knows how.

6. He offers support.

Emotional support is key. If he’s willing to be there through challenging times and doesn’t run away the first chance he gets, that’s proof to me that he cares and loves me.

Not everyone is capable of emotionally supporting a person and it tells a lot about a person when they are able to do that.

7. He shows no judgment.

When he knows about my past and mistakes I have made, I don’t feel judged or criticized. I feel warmth and love.

Accepting me means accepting the good and the bad with no judgments.

8. He compliments you when you’ve put effort into how you look that day. (Or no effort!)

When he calls me gorgeous and I feel like I look scummy or my hair isn’t done shows me it doesn’t matter what I look like and that he’ll think I’m gorgeous regardless. It helps me realize that I don’t always have to get dolled up to impress him or make him think I’m pretty.

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

9. He doesn’t criticize your decisions.

I have parents that criticize my decisions and choices in life. I don’t need another person in my life trying to tell me right from wrong.

If he inquires about my decisions and is genuinely interested and offers his perspective rather than telling me if it’s wrong or right, I know he loves me and respects me enough to not tell me what to do and offer his insight into the matter.

10. He hugs you — and means it.

A hug can tell you a lot. When a guy hugs me, I can tell whether or not it’s genuine or forced. I can tell whether he’s missed me or not.

If a guy hugs me tightly with both arms and doesn’t immediately let go, I know he loves and cares about me. This is just my opinion and how I feel love from another.

11. He asks how your day is going.

I have been in relationships where it becomes routine to ask “How was your day?” and the other person wasn’t particularly interested.

If he shows interest in my day at work and if anything happened, he is showing his love by making sure everything is okay with the day.

12. He asks about current things you’re working on.

If he asks me what I’m writing about this week or what type of papers I’m proofreading or editing, it shows he is interested in what I’m doing. It shows he cares about what I am doing and wants to be a part of it with no hidden agenda.

This is an important gesture for me to feel loved and cared for.

These are the things that a guy does that shows me whether he genuinely cares about me and the relationship or not.

Everyone is different. I want to be appreciative of the small things and not take them for granted.

Woman Murders Boyfriend While Asleep, Then Dismantles Body

I’m very passionate about domestic violence awareness as I am personally a survivor of emotional and physical abuse. I’ve seen the court system firsthand when attempting to get a restraining order against my abuser. It was quite the struggle and jumping through hoops just to obtain a temporary restraining order. I almost gave up because I felt betrayed by the system I’m supposed to have faith in. I don’t want anyone else to feel that way.
It is critical to go over some of the domestic violence news that never really received the coverage it deserves and very much needs to spread awareness. Here are some of the disturbing domestic violence statistics:

Shay Martinez, a 29-year old woman, was brutally beaten by her boyfriend and  sustained injuries so bad that they ended up killing her. He threw her about 10 feet across his bedroom which was reported to have concrete floors. She immediately started snoring and gushing blood.

It was reported this happened at about 5:00am on Sunday September 10, 2017. He put her to bed and never checked on her again until 3:00pm. She was unresponsive with a pulse. She died on September 12, 2017 from injuries sustained from the abuse.

The boyfriend was charged with first-degree domestic abuse assault and bond was set at $250,000. Assault in the first degree in the state of Oregon carries up to 20 years in prison and fines up to $375,000.

While the case isn’t your typical murder case, it doesn’t mean her boyfriend didn’t kill her. He admitted throwing her and she died a few days later from the injuries she obtained through the physical abuse.

So, why is this man not being charged with a more serious crime that could carry life in prison? He robbed this woman of her life. And he gets up to 20 years and the judge gives a bond? Doesn’t sound like the road to justice.

Another case involving Joshua Miller and ex-girlfriend Gekyma Robinson who have a child together named Jordan. On June 6, 2017 Miller’s ex-girlfriend was arrested on the suspicion she had assaulted Miller. She was witnessed hitting Miller over the head with a child guitar and yelling about rent. Thankfully, Miller and his son were granted an order for emergency protection for both Miller and his son.

Miller found a men’s domestic violence shelter and eventually moved into transitional housing. The  shelter is the only shelter for male domestic abuse victims in all of Texas. It is important to note that his ex-girlfriend is not in jail. I am unsure as to whether or not fines were issued at this time.

A case manager at the men’s domestic violence shelter believes there aren’t many services for men experiencing domestic violence because of gender norms as well as others finding it difficult to believe male victims. Male victims from the shelter have also reported that they are taught from a young age to not show or express their emotions.

It’s about time we come together and start treating each other as equals. Men and women experience similar feelings and emotions and no one should ever be looked down upon for expressing themselves. Rather than society blaming woman and men for what they deem to be true, it is long overdue that the justice system be just and fair when sentencing. We all know it happens, it’s time we take a stand for it and use our voices for good reason.
